I haven’t tried it, but Sensu’s new brush looks like a delicious option for painterly work on the iPad. It converts from a paintbrush to a stylus, and the bristles look very well-shaped. Anyone tried one?

Yes, I have used it and like it. For comparison, I have both sizes of the NomadBrush. The SB bristle length falls in between that of the two NBs; it is tapered to a quasi-point, as you note, unlike the flare of the NBs. Given the need for a minimal-contact area (# pixels) for any capacitive device, there may not be much *physical* difference in performance, but I certainly have the *psychological* sense that I can draw much straighter, sharper lines (especially at the smallest diameters) with the Sensu Brush. For sure, there is a visible difference in drawing spots, which can be made much more regular (circular) with the tip of the SB, rather than the splaying and blurring that occurs with the flare of the NBs. But an accomplished artist or illustrator (which I am not) can surely have excellent results with either.
